If you’ve put off dentistry due to fear and apprehension, we have some great solutions—sedation dentistry! Depending on a patients apprehension level, we can recommend Gas Sedation or Oral Conscious Sedation.
Gas Sedation: Nitrous oxide is a safe and effective sedative agent that is mixed with oxygen and inhaled through a small mask that fits over your nose to help you relax. This option is also known as “laughing gas”. You will be conscious and able to hear and respond to your surroundings. This is a great option if you want to feel calm and comfortable in the dentist chair.

Oral Conscious Sedation: This technique is usually for the mild to moderately anxious patient. It is simple, safe and effective! A pill is taken about an hour before the dental visit. Once you arrive at the dental office, you’re placed in a special chair for enhanced comfort. Your drowsiness is then assessed. We will constantly monitor your vital signs using medical monitoring equipment to ensure a safe visit. Most patients have little memory of the procedure.
Whatever option you choose, multiple visits can be condensed into a single safe and comfortable visit.
